COLLEGE PANHELLENIC COUNCIL
Fraternity and sorority life
at southern miss
CPC is honored and privileged to be part of an incredible Greek community here at Southern Miss. Founded on the values of citizenship, scholarship, leadership, and fellowship, the fraternities and sororities on campus offer endless opportunities and once-in-a-lifetime experiences to those who wear our letters. Our shared goal is to always be
"TOGETHER IN PURPOSE. TOGETHER ON PURPOSE."

The Interfraternity Council (IFC) is the governing body for local chapters of the national fraternity organizations specifically associated with the North American Interfraternity Conference (NIC). The University of Southern Mississippi IFC currently presides over ten chapters, including Alpha Tau Omega, Delta Tau Delta, Kappa Sigma, Phi Kappa Tau, Pi Kappa Alpha, Pi Kappa Phi, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Sigma Chi Sigma, Sigma Nu, and Sigma Phi Epsilon.
Southern Miss IFC inspires its members to adopt important values such as leadership, empathy and ambition, and to always strive for excellence. Members uphold these values through academic success, philanthropy, and character development. Our members are actively involved in many events throughout the year, allowing them to create lifelong bonds and consistently give back to the community.
The National Pan-Hellenic Council is the Umbrella Organization that houses the 9 Black Greek Letter Organizations also known as the D9. There are many opportunities to gain during membership including: building a brotherhood and sisterhood, networking, and building your professional rapport.
Our current active chapters include Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
